15 Min Daily Exercise #3
It’s getting late and still haven’t I wrote a single word for my 15 minute daily exercise. This is my 3rd day writing something about anything else without a point of view, a message or even a conclusion.
I like to write and read but there’s only joy for me when there is a reason to do so. Right now the reason to write 15 minutes a day is to create some kind of routine, practice writing, improve the way I construct concepts, thoughts and my own ideas.
From time-to-time I get inspired by books, movies or games I play and I fell the need to write or draw some sketches about the characters that came into my mind. All my writings and some of my drawings are scattered in my old school books and sheets, fortunately my latest characters were drawn in digital painting so I put them in my facebook profile to never miss them again and recall them easily whenever I need to.
About my writings… when I read my old writings I get a little awkward because it looks like it was written by someone else, or a older version of myself.
In 2012 I started to write a piece of text that looked more like a play and I did it on my computer so I can and will just a piece of it here in the bottom of todays daily exercise. Sorry if there are any grammar errors, I haven’t reviewed it for many years and it’s not finished yet, probably it will stay that way for a long long time, eheh. Have fun.
“There I stood, famished and dazzled, such beauty should be forbidden in this world…so radiant and welcoming. Never had I felt something like this before, one could tell that “IT” is true purity, although I wish it could be put an end to it, but it can’t… I can’t.
Why you ask? ah….not even I can answer it. For someone who stands for reason, for the hunt, this is not the right time for questioning. But this, I clearly know the answer….Wolves are meant to devour sheep!
It’s winter fall. The sky radiates a fraction of the Sun, most of it clouded by the long and ancient leafless trees scattered over the field. The water flows sound is so loud, as if it’s so close to us, just a few steps, but it’s rather the opposite, our surrounding mountains, the ones that circle this part of the woods, they refract and amplify the splashing noise.
Totally a perfect day for lumber gathering or hunting…
It crystallized quickly.
The moment it touched the snow, both temperatures battled for their survival, but in the end, the majority won. The same goes to who just lost his head and blood, tossed and spilled out all over the snowy floor.
In all this white storm, a man in black suit appears from nowhere, shrouded by darkness.
‘Ah, snow! So soft, so dazzling, it’s the perfect hunter! It fascinates whoever stares at it, blinding it’s pray, slowly numbing its feet and then the rest of the body. And them…it’s playing time!’ — He said, grinning showing almost his teeth.
‘I’d hope to start it first, but it seems the hunt as already begun. How sweet of them!’- He finished his last sentence with an uproar full of excitement.
Crossing loudly by a small path, a boy runs like is life depends in is two healthy feet. The strain which his body was going through definitely broke a lot of sweat that frizzed instantly.
‘WOOOOOLVES!!!!!!’ — he forced his throat with a big shout
It was just a prank, a foolish prank that broke disorder and panic through the village.
No one could see the playfulness inside his mind, the joy in his heated heart, and such adrenaline pumping in his veins, almost bursting out has a laughter!
Unfortunately their attention was all focused in one thing: the wolves! They usually do not pass near the village, unless it’s a stray wolf. And if it was, it meant trouble, lots and lots of trouble.
-‘They are completely scared’- the boy’s eyes were bouncing like crazy, watching everyone’s move with precious detail.
From afar a booming voice echoed from corner to corner -‘Men! Quickly too me!’-. It sound came from a tall bearded man, armed with a rifle in his left hand and grasping an axe in is belt with the other one. He tries to cross the snow field whit large jumps, pushing himself to the limit.
The kid stopped for a moment, he was breathless as the men who ran to his encounter.
-‘Tomas! You stay here, keep the boy safe!’- Said a mustached man, wielding a torch and a shiny-bladed axe.
The woods, there is something special in it, a pleasant scent of nature, a place that homes innumerous species of creatures that coexist in harmony.
Each animal eats a different kind of seeds or fruits, smells many flower, touching it with their fur, and so some with from the plants, and sometimes they carry something on it. Small bugs, spiders and flower dust travel all the way across the woods, branching their kingdom and kin, spreading along wider and wider. This is how the woods live and prosper, it is so unique and delicate, even the slightest change can break the structural ecosystem.
But ironically, in the worst case scenario, two of the most destructive creatures are about to meet.
Ah, such silent inside, in the woods I mean. It’s very calm, and the birds singing could sooth anyone.
Like that small lamb over there. Peaceful, eyes closed, smelling the air and taking a taste of nature. A small light ray touches its fur, refracting brightness in a large radius. So serene, so beautiful, and most appealing for a hunter.
-‘Hey there little lamb!’- A dark figure approaches silently.
-‘Such big eyes you have! Big ears, big nose, big mouth’-
The lamb started to shake. Despite what it seemed to be fear, it wasn’t. The lambs head was trembling and sweating, the snow in his feet was melting. The lamb was filled with disgust and pure hatred. “
